Mr. Roger J.”Goob” Goben, of Gaylord died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Tendercare. He was 74. Mr. Goben was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 22, 1937. He was raised in Minnesota and soon after graduation from high school he entered the United States Air Force. On June 18, 1977 he married Jill Hickie. The couple met while Roger was working in Kalkaska. They moved to Gaylord in 1992. Mr. Goben had been employed with Schwan’s from 1991 until his unexpected retirement in 1994. Mr. Randy J. Rockwell, loving father, husband, son and grandfather, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the age of 55. Randy was born May 24, 1956 in Detroit, the son of Dale and Joanne (Porter) Rockwell. He was raised in Royal Oak, where he graduated from high school. In the mid 1990’s he moved to Gaylord and was the owner of Gaylord Transmission for a number of years. He was a member of the Northwoods Archery Club in Grayling. He loved target shooting and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and building furniture. In 2009, in Gaylord, he married Jackie Schwartz, who survives. Donald J. Seuschek, 75, of Gaylord, passed away peacefully Wednesday January 25th 2012 at his home. He is survived by his wife Christine, children Mike (Shelly) Seuschek, Linda (Bill) Myers, Laura Seuschek, Nancy (Rod) Ahmann, Donna (Kevin) Rose and Matthew (Kara) Seuschek. Grandchildren Shane Seuschek, Shaun Seuschek, Jerry Myers, Johnny Myers, Jamie Myers, August Seuschek, Olivia Seuschek, Mason Rose and another grandchild on the way, nieces and nephews. Surviving sisters Ruth Melter and Doris Bronz. Don's hobbies included hunting and forestry. Don always had a curious mind of all things mechanical. There will be a private memorial held down state. She enjoyed taking trips with her family and would always liven up the room with her humor and wit. Ann Marie Griswold (Sly,) of Gaylord, passed away Friday January 13, 2012 at the age of 85. She was born November 9, 1926 and was raised in Vanderbilt, the daughter of Glenn and Barbara Sly. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and daughter in law. Ann Marie is survived by her four children, Pamela (Dale) Wade, Donald, Bryon, and Jack (Suzanne) Griswold; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Becky, Amy, Travis and Trevor; and three great grandchildren Brandon, Braden and Alex.
