Heidman, Sr., Karl Obituary

Karl J. Heidman, Sr., age 81, of Gaylord, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at Tendercare. Karl was born February 13, 1928 in Navarre, Ohio, the son of Otto and Ruth (Lemon) Heidman. He spent his childhood years in Ohio, and then joined the United States Army, serving during WWII. Karl liked to watch wrestling, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Katheryn; children, Rick (Sonya), Roger, Sherry (Herb), David (Misty), Karl Jr. (Lisa), Kristine (Dan) Minor; 22 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, including Dayton and Liam. Mrs. Mary Brandly, age 80, of Gaylord, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009. She was born November 27, 1928, in Ann Arbor to Howard R. and Ester M. (Crawford) Wesley. Mary was married to her husband Raymond Brandly for 63 years. She was a member of the Chub Lake Association for 24 years. Mary enjoyed reading mysteries and spending time with her family. Caroline Elanore Impellizzeri, age 91, passed away peacefully at Northwood Village Adult Foster Care Home in Elk Rapids. She was preceded in death by Don, her husband of 55 years and her eldest son Donnie. She is survived by her four sons, Thomas (Monica), Tony (Cindy), Chad (Val) and Steve. Dorothy A. Huesner, known to her friends in Fort Wayne, as Annie Scheerer, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at her daughter’s home in Michigan. Annie was born in Massachusetts on April 13, 1924 and as a child moved with her family to Brooklyn, New York, where she lived the majority of her life. Dunham, Floyd Obituary

Mr. Floyd V. "Vern" Dunham, a lifetime resident of Vanderbilt, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at his home. He was 55. Mr. Dunham was born June 22, 1954, the son of Floyd and Alberta (Ealy) Dunham. Vern enjoyed fishing, mushroom picking, working on his vehicles and watching NASCAR. He loved taking rides in his truck and racing remote control cars.
